Our trip home was a little crazy, but lots of fun! We were all looking forward to seeing our family and friends.
Jen was able to come for Kyle's baptism and help me inventory our house so the movers could pack us up. She was a lifesaver because my brain was fried!!
Alison adores her!!!!!
The movers spent two days packing. Tim stayed at the house and I ran around trying to remember all the things I wanted to take back with me to Brazil. Peanut butter, taco seasoning, shampoo, pressure cooker, etc. etc...
Grandpa Tim took time off work to help Tim with all the house stuff and Kathy entertained the kids by taking them to see the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie and trips to McDonalds.
Our house has been on the market for a few weeks and we got an offer the day we arrived in St. Louis. Normally this would be great news, but we just found out Tim's sister and her family are in need of a place to rent for awhile so we told our realtor that we did not want to sell anymore. She was a little unhappy with us, but what can you do! We are happy to have Kim and Mark in our house. I know it will be loved!!
After all was settled in St. Louis we left for Atlanta where we were to pick up our Brazilian Visas. Jimmy and Michelle met us there and we had a great time seeing them and their 4 adorable boys who make us laugh!! We went to the Aquarium. Truly AMAZING!
Kyle petting the Stingray.
We spent hours and hours in the Atlanta and Washington DC airports because of flight delays.
Thank goodness for the United Red Carpet Club!!
It was worth the wait when all six of us were upgraded to Business Class thanks to Tim status on United.
Kyle eating his fancy meal in business class. The other kids would not let me take their pictures. I tried!!
At least we were all able to get a good nights sleep! Kind of !:)
